How come some Wii games can be copied to SD card but not others?

I just bought a Skate It for the Wii but I can’t save because I don’t have enough room and the games that take up the most space can’t be copied to the SD card…How can I change that??

Are there are sports like games, or any games really, that you can play on the Wii online and compete against your friends?
I am considering purchasing one is why I ask.
