    The drums are hard to use. Especially the cymbals. It just could be that we are amatuers at it!

    Otherwise, its an ok game.

    My daughter already had a Wii; already had Guitar Hero; wanted Band Hero so more people could participate. I read through everything in this entry on Amazon–can’t find anywhere it says “You’ll also need to get 2 more Wiimotes before you can use this game.” Especially since this is a bundled item, I expected everything I need (except possibly batteries) to be included.

    If these were $5 items, it wouldn’t be so bad, but now I have to spend an additional $80 to get something that should have been included with the bundle. Exceedingly poor!!

    Let me first say my entire family, including myself has had a lot of fun with Band Hero but it has not come without a lot of frustration. You can take this thing out of the box, set it up and play it with little trouble. I did have a little trouble hearing the instruments clearly as compared to Guitar Hero. Now however try to adjust the volume on the different instruments, develop a personal playlist or any of the many other functions that you will find and there is ZIP, ZERO, NOTHING in the way of instructions. The instructions that came with the CD itself were of little help and written in so small of font I had to get a magnifying glass to read them. Some of this I was able to figure out after 2 weeks and much frustration but some things I could not. For example I can make a personal playlist but have never been able to save it or find it again if it auto saved. I went to the Nintendo website and signed up to try to get some answers or a place I could find instructions and even though my post was viewed 204 times I’ve got nothing. I’m a big believer in product support and gave this two stars mainly because of the lack there of.

    My family received this game for Christmas – when we opened it there were no drumsticks in the box. I have been searching trying to find someone with a similar problem and nowhere on the box have i found that it says you need to buy them separately??? I’m not sure if this is a fluke or if I was just blantantly unaware of this fact? Someone please let me know! Thanks :)

    We had three different Guitar Hero – World Tours, ALL with bad drum kits. All were returned within days. We really thought they had resolved the drum kit issues. After only two days, we have a bad drum kit again. This is our FOURTH bad drum kit from this series (the ‘Herp’ games).

    The drum kit falsely registers the blue pad when you hit the red or green. It went bad on our 2nd day of use.

    So back to the store it goes.

    Great selection of pop songs and it’s a fun game to play (neat, poppy graphics), but what use is it if the drums don’t work? I was also really annoyed they took out words like “whiskey” and “klonopin” out of songs. I’m 34, I think I can handle those words. I didn’t appreciate the censorship of the music.

    Big thumbs down on this one. :(
